As far as watch service is concerned, we service all makes and models and perform a variety of watch repairs that includes Quartz or Mechanical, watch battery replacement, crystal replacement, stems and crowns, watchband replacement and sales, wrist and pocket watches, and watch engraving, cleaning and inspection.
The flat surface under which the watch’s numbers, symbols and arms function is called the crystal. This is usually made of glass or plastic. Watch crystals regularly break or crack from impact or fall and need to be replaced. The best alternative would be to replace the broken or scratched watch crystal with an upgraded sapphire crystal. The sapphire watch crystals are considerably stronger than the mineral glass crystals and are virtually scratch resistant.
The piece of the watch that we commonly refer to as the knob is more formally known as the “crown” of the watch. This piece is used to set and adjust the time. A “stem” is attached to the crown of the watch and goes into the movement, allowing the watch to be set properly. Most of the time, replacing defected stems and crowns with original parts ensures the highest quality of repair.
Engraving makes anything more personal. A watch might be a timepiece, but it is so much more. It can serve as an heirloom, a piece of history, a luxurious toy, and, most importantly, a reminder of how precious and significant each passing moment can be. As such, allow our professional engravers to give each of your most precious items all the care and attention they deserve by making them special just for you.
